Thank you for allowing me to be part of the forum. I live in the Lake District UK and im brand new to this. I stumbled across the documentary "The Watchmakers Apprentice". I was absolutely fascinated. After watching that I started looking on YouTube for watch repair and restoration videos. I've seen 100's of hours worth now. I bought some books and over the last few weeks I've taken the plunge and start buying tools and very cheap non running mechanical watches so I can start my journey. I can't wait to start learning

Hello and welcome to the forum..  Have a look at the watch fix site. I still run by our administrator and contains  an on line self paced course which takes you from starting out to advanced diagnostics and all things in be tween.

Hi and welcome, as a total beginner myself I have had lots of advice and help from the forum and so will you.

Have you watched Mark’s video’s? if not you should look them up.
