Hi, i want to remove the bracelet on a Seiko, its not like the conventional spring bar type the pin goes through the watch lugs

never done of these before, and would appreciate any suggestions you can give.

Like OH , they should tap out but make sure you press out in the right direction, as one end is sometimes larger than the other. and in some cases the center of the bar is thicker than the ends so be careful.

I need to put the bracelet in my "ultra sonic cleaner" I think my only option is i'll have to take the movement out and clean the braselet and case together, thanks for taking the time. Bil

It's never necessary to use ultra sonic to clean a bracelet. Back then when jewelery was invented just as now, hot water, dish detergent and nail brush works wonder. Then if you want the wonder look just re-brush with green pad (the common one not the "special" expensive type), stroking always in the same direction. Ultrasonic, especially for household use, it's just a consumerism induced need which we can easily do without.

Thanks for your help with the Seiko, It came out really well, and it was a lot quicker too, hot water wasking, up liquid, n toothbrush, had to be careful not drop it in the bowl, rinsed it with distilled water, dried it with a rocked blower and left it for an hour on my inside window board. cleaned the case with Isopropyl Alcohol and cotton buds, the results were perfect. Many thanks again. Bill.
