Hi to everyone here.  I've just joined here because I'm a not too serious hobbyist who seems to be drifting around like a ship without a rudder trying to make progress on a couple of 'projects'.    I have a few watches in a varying state of disrepair ,plus a couple of fully functional favourites, mainly Seiko and in the 'economy' range so nothing to write home about. I'm very much a novice at watch-repair, and I am finding it a bit of a struggle, so I 'll probably be making a nuisance of myself here so apologies in advance. Good to be in touch, and looking forward to catching-up on all the older posts.      best wishes to you all,   daveT

I found that taking Mark's online courses seemed to give me direction for a while and I learned stuff in the bargain!

I believe that most here are still relatively new at the craft. There are some very experienced pros here so at least we have some proper guidance.
