Hi, my name is Steve, I live in Wales. I did Marks course last year and have doing watch repair and servicing of my own watches

I was given a watche by a friend to service, this is a Rubelin and Graf, which I believe is a Chinese movement. After stripping the movement one of the incabloc springs was broken. I went onto Cousins uk. After looking at the springs they have, which always refer to a movement number or type, I am non the wiser. I have measured the jewel and the housing but cannot make sense of the numbers could anyone please help with determining the size and or how to correctly measure for the correct spring.

Hi Steve, I have yet to encounter an Incablock shock setting in my very short journey down this road. I've also been waiting days to be allowed to buy at Cousins. I never even suspected that those tiny springs came in different sizes.

So - I'm of no help to you but welcome to the forum!

I'm in the middle of Mark's level 2 course and have a bunch of movements but I've been waiting on a mainspring winder.

Thank you for your introduction and welcome to this friendly forum.

We all look forward to your contributions and continued involvement.

Is there a cal number on the movement? Some good photos would help. If there is no cal on the movement we need photos of the keyless work side and a photo of the incabloc. Give us as much info as you can.
