Dear All,

My name is SK2 from Singapore . I picked up watch repairing in late 2017 when I retire from Fulltime work when I was 64. Now I am 68+ and still spend an average of 2.0 hrs per month ( min) on my hobby. I had mainly in the last 3 years +  repair, modify or build watches with Seiko, Miyota and seagull movement. Recently I ventured into visit vintage Rolex movement. My latest project was to get a 1964 Rolex movement 1210 back to life.

I hope to learnt from others in the group and to share my experiences as well.

Happy new year and good health to all members and their families. Cheers 2022

HI guys ,

Thanks for all the welcome messages.

Attached is my Rolex 1210 movement , without the hair spring .

The only joy at the moment is to see the balance wheel rotating when a gust of wind go by the movement.

Hope I will be able to put that guy on my wrist soon.

Regards,
