Adjusting The Movement Over Time ?

When i do clean a watch and i adjust in in a timegrapher i usually wind the mainspring up to full or almost full . Adjust it then to run good .This has strike me now . When the mainspring loose its wind and is half wind up . The watch must run slower ?. Toward the end of the spring the amplitud runs down very much . 

Hope you understand what i mean . Should you adjust the watch to a medium .

Yes If fully wound then leave it for about 12 hours, this also gets the oils worked in!

Whenever I regulate a Watch I tend to wind it nearly full then let it run for a while.

Then do the regulating, then monitor for 24 hours.

Recently did this on my Obris Morgan with a Miyota movement.

Now running at - 5 seconds a day which is pretty good.
