Movies and other unsupported attachments

I've been trying to post a PowerPoint presentation on the 'walkthrough' section and keep getting this error code

Please convert it to PDF, which will make even easier for people see it.

For security reasons we have to limit the file types that can be uploaded to our system. Images and PDFs are ok.

I wanted to clarify that currently this also include .AVI, .MOV and other video files. If you want to share a video please upload it first on YouTube or other platform, then post the link here. Doing that will also spare costly forum resources.
