Watch crystal, date magnifiers.

Would anyone be willing to make up a mineral crystal with date magnifier for me please?

As a hobbyist, I don't want to have to spend a fortune for adhesive and a UV Curer, just for what is likely to be a one-off repair. I will of course pay, not looking for a freebie.

you wouldn't have to purchase a UV light source you already have one. You should be able to just place it in the sun there should be enough UV there to take care of it. You to try an experiment first with the glue to make sure it works but the sun works quite well at curing UV glue.

Or just use traditional clear cement like GS. The advantage of UV cement is that it dries faster, professionals like that for obvious reasons.

Dunno why I did not consider the sun. Maybe it’s just because we have seen it so rarely this summer on Norfolk. 

Will give that a try with the UV glue and see how I get on with it. Will report back in due course.
