HI i have a book about clockmaking in England and Wales in the Tewentieth Century which i think is a great book to have and would recommend it to anyone, but can anyone suggest a book about local clock makers in Britain and Europe particular about trademarks and the clock movement. Thanks in advance.

Do a search on the author Brian Loomes, he has written over a dozen books like this, go to Amazon or ebay and do a search on his name and you will have plenty of books to choose from.

There are lots of books from various authors on county clocks and their makers.  Brian Loomes and Laurie Pennman are the best I have found. For carriage clocks get the book by Charles Allix
