I'm a hobbyist with a 3D printer, my goal is to make a 100% 3D printed clock with relatively good accuracy (I would be happy if it could keep time to an error of 1800 secs/day). I'm incredibly new to this and rather ignorant, so I'm here to learn.

Welcome. 1800 sec/day? You mean 30 minutes?

I'm sure a 3D printed clock would be capable of better accuracy than that. Good luck and keep us posted. ?

Welcome to the forum.

I would expect that a 3D printed clock, if done well, should keep much better time than that.

Would you be using real mainsprings or would you make it weight driven?
