Hi all,

I recent brought a seiko 6139 8002 from eBay with the intention of a full restore.

i had stripped the case pushers etc and notice the movement wasn’t working right. I tweaked the hairspring from the balance and the more I tweaked it, the more bent and irreparable it was getting. Now, can anyone suggest where I could get a replacement hairspring from. I can’t find anything on eBay. Or is there a similar movement I could scavenge. Tah

Hi  The part Number B/Comp 310 611  Its listed obsolete from cousins.  I would try John Senior at osoletewatchandclockparts.com  as a first try, or welwynwatchparts.co.uk both deal in second user parts.  John Senior is a member.

Try Australian Watch and Clock Supplies in NSW. Agent for Seiko and had  all the parts needed for my 7016.
Seiko themselves told me that they didn’t have anything.
