New Toys Bergeon Winders

In the post this morning a new half set of the Bergeon mainspring winders happy but skint. Hoping to add to this set when needed

nice set! Those thing are really expensive don't you think?

I'm been thinking about buying a set myself but I still haven't so far.

Sometimes, especially with smaller mainsprings, it becomes very difficult to hand fit them in the barrel.

Very nice set CB, a little pricey for me at the moment but definitely worth every penny! Congratulations on the excellent upgrade!

I shall, for the time being, have to master the manual method. I mean, there IS a manual method, isn't there?

I recollect watching a video on how to remove a spring from a barrel but does anyone know of a good one on winding and inserting one? I'll get browsing but, at the moment, it's only for future reference as there's still a number of things to obtain before I plunge into disassembling anything.

They are real quality but expensive. However on close inspection the engineering & build of these winders is really high end stuff hence the price. I have now to purchase the larger winders but one at time because individual they are £45 each @ cousins or Ofri offer non Bergeon winders @ $85.
