I have been reading posts on this site for months and also have been taking Mark's repair courses. I have enjoyed the challenge of working on mechanical watches and understanding how they operate. This site and Mark's repair courses gave me the confidence to clean and fix my grandmothers watch from the 50's. It has been a great leaning experience. After restoring an old watchmaster ultra sonic cleaner and slowly buying the tools to work on watches and finally working on some old watches to gain experience before I worked on my grandmothers watch. I see this hobby being a learning experience for every watch being worked on.
