Hello,

I'm Lee and I'm brand new to attempting to work on mechanical watches.

I've got two watches I'm trying to fix.

The first is a Rotary Kensington that uses a DG2813 movement.  I bought a new movement for it, but had a catastrophic experience trying to put the date wheel from the original movement on it.  I've ordered another movement and will be trying again.  They're cheap from All Watch Parts.  I'm using the actual Dixmont Guangzhou "Five Goats" DG2813.

The second is a Poljot, supposedly new old stock, that has a Poljot 2209 (Not Vostok) hand wind movement.  Barely runs at all.  Needs a full service.  I'm trying to learn how to do that.

I'll be posting questions about both I'm sure.

I've signed up for Mark Lovick's three watch repair courses and I'm almost through level 2.  Got two 6497 seagull clone (st36) movements to work on.  Hope I don't wreck them.
