Hey

Can anyone tell me were i am going wrong on the keyless works on this omega 565.

Pic 1&2 shows the castle wheel connected to the crown wheel so if i was to wind it would.

pic 3&4 shows with the castle wheel end weight (sorry dont know name for this bit its new to me) but you can see the bit added.

pic 5 shows the setting bridge fitted correct to the plate.

Pic 6&7 shows how its got to be or the castle wheel will not engage the crown wheel and wind up.

Any clues would be a great help.

I have a sheet with parts named on it for the 565 but no exploded view sheets or anything on the keyless set up.

cheers

Hi

I still cannot see the difference. Just seems the same as what I have done.

So frustrating I cannot see the difference.

Thanks for trying

Cheers

There is certainly a difference between the two. The one in the video had three steps on the stem, yours has two, and yours has the cam in a different position, despite the fact that they both appear to be in the "crown in" winding position.

Seems like a difefrent lever to me or am I wrong? In the video it has 3 positions, the OP's has 2...

The cam/lever looks different and the spring plate looks different (2 vs 3 notches). I suspect the version in the video has day or day/date complication with a day quickset, the other does not, hence the 3rd crown position and the three notch spring.

The cam with the pin sticking up, that rides on the spring, and that has the second pin that is not connected to anything in the pictures (but may be related to the day/date),  however is in a different orientation, so that may be the issue. Difficult to be certain that this is the issue, but those are the  differences I can see.

Hi

Once again thanks every body I will try leaving the cam off and see how that goes. This version just has the date on it. So I guess I need to find out which bridge is for what movement.

Bad day to give up smoking.

Cheers
