I'm glad this was shared. I've been following Martin and Wintergatan since the video below debuted, he's currently building an updated version with help from other YouTubers from all over the world. Marble Machine X is getting close!

I've been amazed watching Martin go from a hand held saw to CNC machines and TIG welding.  It looks to be nearing an end and I hope it's a good end!
