Hi WRT, I'm totally new to the world of watches. I've had this Seiko SRZ392P1 for a couple of years. I recently took it to a watch repairer to get a battery change and it seems he has lost a part and managed to scratch the backcase in the process. At the moment the crown won't lock in place/wind, soooo, I'm curious to learn how to replace it myself. How would I identify the necessary/missing part?

I have a beautiful Wittnauer 11arg movement that I bought off a jewler for 10 dollars. I figured that I could easily find a suitable case to fit the movement. To this date I have been unable to find a home for this movement. A year ago I ordered a case off of ebay that matched with my movement. When the package arrived at my house it was empty. The Wittnauer 11arg movement is based off an as 1361. Does anybody know where I can find obscure parts/ know where I can get a suitable case?

Hi all, I'm looking for someone who actually makes watch parts such as balance staffs. We are a watch and clock repair shop in Hull, East Yorkshire and we often get watches that we cant repair because of obsolete parts. The person who usually would make us these parts can no longer do it because of failing sight. Can you do this, or know anyone that can? preferably for the trade. Thanks Paul
