  1. Hi all , After not winning auctions on a few watches ,.. a similar model to this one , 2 Accutron Astronauts , 2 Omega SeaMasters , I pulled the trigger on this Beauty . It had a BIN price of $899,99 or make offer . I had been watching this watch for about a month along with about 20 or 30 other watchers . The date code N1 places it as a 1971 model . I made an offer that was accepted by the seller and now this Baby is on its way to me .

  2. Thanks delroyb, I did similar as I couldn't find service /oiling documents. As it's my first pin pallet movement, I just wanted to check there's nowhere I shouldn't be oiling. I used 9010 on the train / balance jewels etc.. & D5 on the barrel arbour, keyless works. Grease on stem, cannon pinion. Is this correct? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

  3. You certainly did! :) Even though it reads to 0.01mm, it is easy to estimate sizes smaller than that. The pallet fork pinions on the 1120 movement I have just rebuilt measured 0.068mm and 0.0067mm respectively. I was frightened to measure the diameter of the new ones, as the slightest tweak of the tweezers would have snapped them. I'm still curious as to what the new size is. If anyone has information on this please let me know.

  4. Good progress, I actually feel like putting my woodwork skills to the test now :) The only problem is, I don't have any woodworking skills. What I was taught at school didn't extend to making drawers.
