Howzit! I live on a rural island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and there are no watch repairmen here; the shops here send even the simplest jobs to Honolulu, about 250 airmiles from the island where I live. I don't have expensive watches but I wear a variety of watches and now I have 4 which are not working. So I went online to see if I could figure out how to repair them myself. Now I want the basic instruction of how to open my watches. Obviously, I'm not going to work on more than one at a time so I don't mix up the innards! I keep trying to start the basic lessons but can't find how to access them. I have already registered. Thnx, Frankie

Hi Frankie, Welcome to this fine forum. Well, what can I say. You have to get fixing those watches for the Islanders !!. Help is here. I recommend Mark Lovicks videos, and a book that I have had for many years. Donald de Carles Practical Watch Repairing for practical and theoretical info:. All good wishes for your success. Kind regards, Mike.
