Something a Bit Different

Recommended Posts

Interesting when you find something, whilst looking for something else! For only being around for a few years in watch terms. I like the simplistic style and after reading Hodinkee article for the base ETA 2824, pretty cool mods on dial and hands, but platinum hands! (strange the actual website doesn't seem to mention movement), 300 watches a year is certainly a niche market. Straps made from sturgeon?!? (poor fish!) Two year warranty seems decent, they seem to play a lot on the Nardin connection, (marketing?) $400 swiss francs for an overhaul seems upscale, but hey the girl is cute!

I also checked out date month and leap year functionality, I'd probably need to go back to school to figure out some of those features. I know it's suppose to do it for you. Overall, I like the concept and design.

But prices, "The export price (excluding 8% Swiss VAT) is CHF 20’240". That's a lot of francs, Swiss or otherwise!

Yes truly expensive and not much good for instant day/date info.  Maybe after a while it comes easy but then if you can afford it you would probably get fed up and buy something else (equally expensive of course!!).

There seems to be 3 sets of circles of dots :-

7 dots are days of week but which is Monday!.

31 dots are date in month 1st dot must be 1st day of month, :)

12 dots are month of year and top dot must be January.:)

By the time you've worked out what you want it could be the next day!!!!!!!!!!:pulling-hair-out:
