Use Of Hand Alignment Tool

Recommended Posts

So my new watch hand alignment tool came in today and I really have no solid idea of the best way to use it. I could start guessing, however, if anyone has a video or could make one it may save me from failure. Please.9baee0d50e231e48988eedaf9d87d5ea.jpg

i have the exact same piece. the way i use it: i match up the hole size in the little plastic piece to the canon pinion (so the pinion fits inside when pressed down) and use that plastic piece for the hour and minute hands. i use the solid one for the second hand. nice firm, even pressure.

so you match up only one of these little plastic wachamacallits to the cannon pinion, correct? Not one for the hour and one for the minute? Then do you hold the hand with tweezers or rodico?

i just use one size for both hands. i fit the hand initially with tweezers - usually there is enough friction to hold it in place. i've only had one that i had to use tweezers to hold.

and, again, the solid one i use for the second hand.

I have one of those, I use it to great effect by placing it over important documents, I find the documents stay where they are.

Sorry, couldn't help myself, I didn't find them as useful as others have, because the precision, i find, is lacking. But you may find that it works fine for you.  :D

that was actually very funny. I will let you know if this works. Perhaps I will make a video of the challenge

I got that one a year or so ago. Works well for me.

Cheaper than the one with three separate pushers.

Exactly the same one I picked up from China. Waiting for a set of Seiko Diver hands to come on and then we go down the road of no return
