If it is in an auction house and listed as a JLC then it should be real and if not then you should get your money back if you bought it , if however it is listed as a "Gents stainless steel watch " or similar then it will be a fake and the auction house know it is and haven't listed it as real.

Also there will be a clue in the estimate

The other thing to bear in mind if it is listed as a JLC in the auction - and the estimate seems low - is that low estimates are often a "come hither" gesture by the auction house. I saw a 1940s Seamaster with an estimate of £200-£300 go for £3,200 recently...

I'm 99.9% sure it's fake. Have a look at the real deal in gold, there are too many differences and the strap doesn't look high quality

The gold watch is a Master Perpetual Triple Date and costs over £10,000. I don't know the answer to your second question.

As I said before study the finest detail and you will see quite a few differences compared to the one you are asking about.
