This is the Seiko diver I purchased in 1981 while in university and did not eat for a month. Same watch with NO changes at all and only one cleaning(the cost of which got me interested in watch repair)fc2986039eca33eb9521dcb453e38923.jpg

Lovely watch.. Is the strap original?

 

I missed it the first time round but Seiko has released its twin brother.. virtually identical bar some additional modern markings on the dial, price a bit high tho...something like USD500 or so.

More like $350.

they're my favorite of the divers.

the re-released watch - is the case identical to the original? or has it been updated in some way?

There are various reviews on WUS and SCWF including photo comparisons between the two.
