Where to buy parts?

Recommended Posts

We have an old wall mount pendulum clock that belonged to my husband's grandparents. We moved almost a year ago and just now got around to getting it hung up. I wound it and started the pendulum and it would slow down to a stop. I watched what feels like every clock video on YouTube and took the hands and face off and found a cracked gear. It's the one connected to the snail. I'm trying to find somewhere to buy a new one. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Can you post a few photos of the clock including the movement and the cracked piece and the case. You must make sure the clock is level.

On this forum we like new members to post an introduction, say country where you live and a little about yourself.

Thank you all for the suggestion on what information to provide. I'm in Indiana,  USA. The clock is a 31 day elgin wall clock. There is a note inside for a service in 1884. 20240411_143747.thumb.jpg.63485ca02b4f7aa749c4b911f5397584.jpg20240411_143832.thumb.jpg.38e15a7a1f57f59978e514be9420aa15.jpg20240411_143852.thumb.jpg.f6f671f24e96cc48343328c1152954b7.jpg20240411_144409.thumb.jpg.c99178fcab03020f4ea502d06ba45164.jpg20240411_144457.thumb.jpg.d8bb46979aac5e0572085cc78c2c3888.jpg
