Thanks for letting me join this forum. I am not really a watch repairer, yet. I have changed many batteries and swapped out a quartz movement. I really like working on watches and hope to learn lots from reading the posts here.

Not a watch repairer? Of course you are. "I have changed many batteries and swapped out a quartz movement". seems to me you are well on the way.
