Good day! I am just getting started in studying wristwatches while looking into my grandfather's Omega Constellation pie pan. I live in Tucson Arizona and am an avid golfer. I am particularly interested in vintage mechanical watches.

Hello and welcome to the forum   If you intend to work on the Omega  I should get some practice in on some cheap watches first (running ones)  that way if they dont work afterwards you know you made the problem. Once your skill levels are up to it then do the omega.  The watch.fix site do some selfpaced courses run by our administrator Mark Lovick which have proved popular and informative.

Thanks! I do have a couple of ETA calibers that I will practice on, including this crusty Bulova. I am nervous to work on the Omega (561 caliber) just because it was my Gramps'.DSCN5036.thumb.JPG.7718ff907d83da082ce5984d89a18d69.JPG
