Interested in Watch repair

My name is Bill and I would like to learn about watch repair. I’ve dabbled a little, but there is a lot to learn. I was wondering if there were classes or in person seminars and where to find them.

I am in the Midwest of the U.S. There is Quincy College which is about three hours away that has a degree in horology. That would be one heck of a commute.

I live 20 miles from Quincy Illinois.  I looked into Quincy College.  They are very expensive and not aimed at the hobbyist community.  I do wish they were there for us.

To get you started up and running there are the "Watch Fix " , online courses run by our Administrator Mark Lovick,  There are some sample Videos to look at  so you may judge for your self. The feedback that turns up on the forum is always very posative.
