Not a manufacturer I've heard of. They are on Ranfft http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&Lip_R23, but I can't find any parts lists.

The reason why you can't find in depth technical information is because back in that time, little was made available (even if the factory had detailed blueprints, which are much more likely to end being burned in the owner's heirs fireplace than be seen by foreign heirs) and the only way of dissemination was photocopying and post. On top of that of course, repairers were supposed to know their trade without much external help.

So, what is the actual problem with the watch?

Hey guys 

The problem is it has either the wrong mainspring or barrel or arbour. 

Just ordered a arbour so will see if thats the problem.
