Hello!

I have an Omega with a 268 that has a cracked center wheel jewel on the main plate. I have never replaced a jewel myself before and will probably go to a watchmaker and have him do it for me, but I do not know where to get ahold of a new jewel. Are there any OEM options available? I have not been able to find any information online. Any help?

The setting lever screw is also broken and a tiny part is still stuck in the setting lever. Would it be possible to dissolve it with alum like you would do with a broken stem in a crown?

Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

The jewel can be replaced - Seitz sell suitable replacements.

The setting lever is steel so not possible to separately dissolve the screw with alum.

If you know a watchmaker who is capable of replacing a jewel, they will be able to source a replacement. Can you post a picture of the stuck screw?
