Hello folks.  My name is Rick Jung (pronounced Young) and I've just joined this group.  My interest lies primarily in pocket watches. I received my first pocket watch one as a wedding gift from my Italian wife; it was a hunter case with a unique face which she purchased in her hometown of Chiusa, Italy (1976). The watch was beautiful but unfortunately it was stolen.  I've been looking for a similar watch and face and cannot find it. So she bought me a replacement watch - a Keinzle double hunter and it's broke.  I joined this site to learn how to repair my watch and where I can purchase parts, such as a stem. Looking forward to learning how to repair and build pocket watches.

As others will most likely say, starting on pocket watches is easier than wristwatches due to the physical size of them.

Michael - thank for the welcome.  I just started down this path because I want to repair a gift, pocket watch. Finding specific parts is very difficult - but I'm new.
