Remove dials Sicura jump

Hi all!

I am starting a Sicura jump watch. Should be pretty straight forward cleaning and haven’t torn into it yet.

My question is, what holds the dial rings on? My initial guess is a canon pinion but I am not sure. Under the plates looks to be a pinion with a spring arm riding on it to make a smooth dial rotation. Since the new challenge for myself is to not leave scratches, I’m looking for some info to be a repair ninja.

That’s a new one for me but it will certainly not be held with a cannon pinion.

Hi sicura used BFG movements ,  the bfg 158 seems to have been a common one

I remember doing something like that a couple of years ago. I had to modify the tips of an old pair of tweezers into a hook to grip the two holes in the hour wheel and pull it straight up, like a cannon pinion. I can't seem to remember where I put it. If I do find it, I'll post a photo.

I still can't find the actual tweezers but I found a photo of it.
