New In Today - 15-Jewel Timor From 1932

I was taken with this little watch - particularly the 15-jewel movement - so had a punt on it. It's a nicely-cased, 9ct gold watch by the Timor Watch Company - hallmarked for Chester for (I think) 1932. I think it's the original strap on it - if not, it's certainly an old one - and I shall keep that on to go with the watch. It's not a wearer for me - 28mm across without the crown - but will look nice among the other  gold pieces in my collection.

Me too! Wondering what was the cure for the illness...I can see it was just a lull to come back stronger. :)

 

Nice and very appealing watch and movement. I've always liked the small seconds @ 6 too which makes it more special!
