Hello! My name is Rafal, and I live in Poland.
I am like most of You a watch enthusiast, but mostly focused on collecting electric-powered timepieces from 60s and 70s, I love to see how various engineers, watchmakers and manufaturers were trying to make battery-powered watches (I can talk hours on this topic). Some people tend to underestimate modern quartz watches, but actually quartz movements have very interesting historical background.

And becouse I love idea of learning by doing, I bought some basic tools, and started to tinker in watch movements (only mechanical so far...). I found Mark's videos to be very useful for totally begginer, my next step is joining this community.

I attached photo of my most beloved watch :).
