Stem removal.

I can stare at this quartz movement all day, but cannot fathom how to remove the winding stem. Maybe it just needs a firm pull, but I would rather be certain before I apply too much force to it.

Any solution would be appreciated, thanks.

I've never seen this movement before. What watch does it belong to?

From the photo, it looks like you insert a small screwdriver and lift the setting lever.

Looking at it zoomed in, it looks to me like you need to unscrew the setting lever screw from the other side.

Have you tried to gently lift up the setting lever and at the same time pulled it outwards?
If you dont't want to risk bending the setting lever jumper just take the screw of holding it and lift the setting lever up and the stem will come out.

Its either from the dial side or try and press where I have indicated or undo the screw that holds the setting lever located just above the battery and remove. It looks like the bruised screw head it has been removed before.
