Das yet another sad story.  

 

Far to much of this going on and one the reason is most cave in and refund for fear of getting a neg feedback.

I say B???ocks to them and I will always take this thieves on if I loose my positive status tuff.

I think ebay is still a great resource for the hobby as someone may have that part or watch or tools you have been looking for. As Clockboy said it" all about the fear for your rating...

100% agree Clockboy - don't be bullied. As for threats of legal action 99% of the time nothing happens, even if it does the Courts tend to rule in favour of the defendant, even when they are in the wrong. If the plaintiff wins they have to pursue for the money (the Courts don't), then the defendant gives the usual sob story that they can only afford to pay £1 a week and default after the first week etc. etc. I know this from past experience of running a print business where credit was invariably abused and the Courts were completely toothless.
