Hello Guys,

After reading a lot here on this forum it is time for me to introduce myself and participate on this great forum. 
 

My love for watches started with my fathers love for clock and clockrepair. Clocks in general were not of my interest but the technique within I found fascinating.
watches however had my interest since I got my first casio lcd quartz in 1985. This watch is long gone but that is were it once started. 

around 15 years ago My interest developed to the point I wanted to know the technique within the watch. And I molested my first watch. A non Running Timex. Since then I came a long way.  
I learned a lot with trial and error. A lot went wrong and a lot went great but all Without really knowing what Inwas doing. 
 

In the last years I had the opportunity to buy two complete watchmakers inventory’s. A lot is in storage because I simply do not know what tools they are. Some is traded or sold for funding tools and parts I lacked. And at this point I am arranging my own “atelier”. And seeking for knowledge. 

The more I know. The more questions I have!

I love to collect watches mostly vintage but never keep watches very long. Also I love to spread the beauty of watches by sharing pictures of them on my instagram account “VintagewatchNL”
