Canon pinion

Hi can some one tell me is this Canon pinion now a dead Canon pinion. Has it snapped. Sorry pic not better. Its a omega cal 620.

A exploded diagram of cal 620 would be handy if anyone knows the were abouts of one to download.

Center arbor looks snapped, save the canon pinion.

It can be pushed out with the right stake or a straight pin. At least enough to grip with pliers.

If you can't grip it with pliers, you'll need a new one. The 620 has a sub-second so the canon pinion is closed at the top side.

Hopefully a 620 omega woman's watch movement will have the parts I need.

I presumed you have exhausted search for a replacement, can be drilled out on a lathe.

soak the part . mineral spirits , WD  40, something of that nature. It will loosen.

  Soaking ends braking.  Should routinely soak before stripdowns.
