Hi all, I broke the pivot of balance wheel on ETA 2804-2. I bought a generic complete balance wheel with bridge for ETA 2824-2 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/262234041099?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) and tried to install it without any difficulty. There is only a difference between the new and old one is the shock assemblies (Incabloc vs Novodiac). In the photo below, the new one is the yeallow on the right hand side. Hi, I have an old Rado Diastar Quartz watch that belonged to my grandpa, but it doesn't work anymore. My dad tried having it repaired once and had a terrible experience with Rado. In the end they flat out said they couldn't repair it and gave it back. The design of the watch seems common to a number of old Rado watches, both automatic and quartz. I'll add some pictures of my quartz movement and the automatic(ETA2789)

Goldsmith said they can't repair!!! They paid me £250. So this is when I did some research and took the back off the watch. I believe the stem is still in the watch. But I think I can repair by replacing the stem and crown. I still have the crown. Could some one advise what stem I need and how can I attach the crown, doesn't appear to have a thread but I think it should have. I can get mo
Hi all, This is my first post, so apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum. However, I am looking for advice and repair help, so this seemed like the place! I had this watch for about 2 years, brand new, never worn. I took it out today and as I was sitting on a chair, I tried to put the watch on, it slipped off my leg and hit the floor, cracking the crystal right down the middle! It looks to be intact, but obviously I want to fix the watch. It was keeping great time, and I wanted to start wearing it. It is still running, and there does 't appear to be any pieces of glass on the
