  1. Hello, I have been trying to find a way to remove the ETA 2892-A2 movement out of this Rado Diamaster watch. The case back is surprisingly a snap-on, and after removing the stem and case clamps, expected it to fall out onto my casing cushion. However, the movement seems stuck solid in the case. It does seem to have a synthetic movement retaining ring (if that's what it is) but I'm not sure how to remove it without risking damage as it's not shifting with gentle encouragement. I'm also wondering whether the movement has to come out from the crystal side, but since it's a sapphire crystal, I'm doubting that too. Has anyone else had any experience with removing this movement from the case please? Photos show what I'm working on.

  3. Hi there, I have this old Rado Florence Leather Band Dress Watch that I would like to replace the battery on. I used to have this done by Watch Repair people but now it seems to be outrageously expensive. Can somebody give me instructions on how to do it. I've replaced batteries on press in back caps and screw in caps but not really sure with this one. Thank you and sure would appreciate the help. Here's a pic.
  4. Hi, I have an old Rado Diastar Quartz watch that belonged to my grandpa, but it doesn't work anymore. My dad tried having it repaired once and had a terrible experience with Rado. In the end they flat out said they couldn't repair it and gave it back. The design of the watch seems common to a number of old Rado watches, both automatic and quartz. I can't seem to find a second hand quartz movement but found automatic movements for the same design. Would it be possible to replace the quartz movement with and automatic? I'll add some pictures of my quartz movement and the automatic(ETA2789). Thanks in advance for any advice!
  5. Need to find a 3rd link replacement for my Rado Diastar watch ceramic bracelet. Picture attached. Please help...
  6. Hey there. I want to replace the (ETA quartz) movement in a Rado Jubilé, but I haven't a clue on how to get the movement & dial out of the case. The watch is similar to the pictures I attached - rectangular face with a smaller round case back. It obviously must be front-loaded, but the entire front of the watch is the crystal, no bezel or anything. Does this mean I somehow have to remove the crystal from the front and risk damaging it in the process? Truly stumped here. Thanks!
