Hey Geo ,...I'm working at the Harley-Davidson / Triumph dealer here on Oahu . I'm in Heaven . About at least a hundred bikes , a Tattoo parlor inside , a lounge or two , Rock and Roll playing , and eye candy on parade dressed [or not ] to kill.

No gasket , just seems to be pressed in . I was able to download a tech manual . Accutron 218 service manual #1.pdf

And with the escapement back in, the watch is flying... So now the watch is running fine, the keyless work is smooth like silk. Now ready to case up... It's a lovely watch... :)

Just for you Geo... This is the smallest one in the range, I don't think that I would have a use for the bigger ones. And no, that jewel isn't balanced, it's hanging. I don't know how long the sticky lasts. I've had mine just over a year now and have used it a lot with no loss of tackiness. When it does eventually lose its stick I suspect that it will only require a rinse in cold water and then air dry to rejuvenate it, although at the price I will probably just replace it.
