Purchased watch with corrosion. Is it fixable?

Ok thanks. I really like the watch. May have to take it to a watch place.

Well worth to fix . And should not cost lots of money either. Looks like a ETA 955.112 movement. But clean up the movement as good as you can inside with rodico and put a new battery plastic under the battery. Put a new battery in i won't be suprised if it runs.

Does indeed appear to be a 955.112. You can get the insulator here for £5 plus vat and postage https://www.cousinsuk.com/category/filter/eta-esa-movement-parts, or a complete movement is £43 if the damage has gone deeper. If you’ve never done a movement swap before, you may want to entrust that to a pro.

Cousins also sells rodico for cleaning up the old movement.
