Ok the case was added much later. It doesn’t even fit the dial. Out of proportion and ugly.

But what of the clock its self ? it looks like a hoop and spike clock that has had a case added and the feet must be a later edition

I didn't want to say to much about the stupid case. You are right about the movement hoop and spike. The feet are original to the movement. Hoop and spike movements came with feet, its daft as they hung on walls all part of decoration and proportion to the movement.
