I've got a 17 Jewel Vitange Zentra pocket watch. I've been googling and not turned up anything about them.

I'd particularly like to identify the movement - The balance staff is bent and I want to try and find a replacement.

The movement is a French made Parrenin probably a calibre H4.2 16 ligne they are listed on Ranfft so you should be able to check.

I used a Besfit book do a search on a Bestfit catalogue, you identify movements by matching the setting or keyless works parts to ones illustrated in the catalogue they are well worth buying look on Ebay for them. The dial side of the movement tells you more than the Bridges on a watch when trying to identify a movement.

I'll keep my eye out for one.

The Ranfft page suggests the balance staff is a "U936". This doesn't seem to be a universal size code. The only site I can find that uses them is Flume.de and they don't list the 936. Do you know of any other sites or a table of equivalents?
