This jewel is part of the Incabloc for a balance wheel. I need to clean and lubricate it but can't figure out how it comes apart.

Drop it into a small container of naphtha (zippo lighter fluid) and put a lid on it. Leave it overnight, then give it a little shake. You should find that the two parts just fall apart.

These settings often get glued together with gummy oil and when you find them like this it is a good indication that a good cleaning is required. The naphtha dissolves the oil freeing up the parts.

Is that better then specific cleaner. Like Elma. I have got some jewels that where gummed up so badly i could almost not get it out.

When you run the watch through the cleaning machine you should remove the jewel assemblies. Just make sure you keep the top and bottom separate as the usually not the same. They usually they come apart in the cleaning machine. Otherwise drop them in a container of hairspring rinse. Then another option is holding on to the setting part press the cap jewel into Rodico As it's sticky oh hold the jewel and decompose setting away..
