3rd wheel friction pinion

Can anyone tell me how to remove a 3rd wheel friction pinion without a roller remover? Thanks

Are you perhaps referring to a second's pinion, as in a center seconds wheel? Two small levers, or two thin blades such as an exacto blade will do the trick.

It can be done with a Presto tool, provided you have enough space for the jaws to « grab »
