My wife has been given her grandmothers clock.  I can’t find anything about the maker.  She lived new]at Bradford so the Bradford reference does stack up.

Any info gratefully received.

The name on the dial is the Bradford jeweller that retailed the clock they would not have made it, a picture of the movement would tell you more when determining the maker, not having seen the movement I would suspect it to be a 8 day platform escapement movement of either English, origin by makers such as Elliott, Smiths, or Rotherams, or Swiss Buren or a French make.

date wise I would put it roughly around the 1920's.

But without a picture of the movement it would be impossible to determine manufacture.

Thanks for the replys, it’s my wife’s grandparents clock that she has enherited, sentimental value only but it’s nice to have a bit of info regarding it.
