Replace gasket on Seiko 6139-6002 stem

Any help with the right procedure to replace the gasket on the Seiko 6139-6002 stem?

I cut of the old one with a sharp knife. Usually  a bit hard so maybe two cuts.  And just slide the new one over the spring and gear.  Takes a little patient to put the new one on. You can take the stem and crown apart . But then you need to put  some loctite on the threads. And to remove the crown you need to heat the crown a little. To soften the old loctite a little. otherwise you risk destroying the threads on the crown.

That looks and awkward job. Think I would tend to remove the crown if possible

Correct way is disassemble, remove and replace gasket.

Use of a pin vice is recommended.
