Rolex 3035 Issue

Recommended Posts

I am having an issue with a rolex 3035...cleaned..oiled...fresh mainspring....rotor spins freely on the auto bridge...I attach the auto bridge and rotor to the movement...rotor spins freely...until I tighten the auto bridge screws...then I feel quite a bit of resistance in the rotor spin...loosen the screws and away it goes again...tighten the screws and slows down....what could be causing this to happen....thanks...

In his tutorial on servicing the 2824, Marc said that when putting back the automatic bridge you should give the stem a half turn to allow the wratched wheel to engage with the automatic gears.. It's very unlikely to make this mistake, but I think you should check.
