Looks nice doesn't it. What they fail to tell you is its modern and no way will it keep its value, For those that are interested in clocks, the give away is the screws and looking at the back the click springs which are black, they should be blued or plain steel, the clicks as well should be plain steel. Now move down to the photo that shows the dial removed, two types of finish, there should only be one type and that should be a high finish on everything also there's modern clips to hold the parts on, old types would be pinned. Even the hands wouldn't have that fixture they would be pinned.

That's your lesson for to day. :D

Thanks, yes the 'C' or 'E' clips are a bit of a give away, keep posting things like this as I like carriage clocks, but before I ever pull the trigger on an expensive one I want to make sure I know enough to not buy a dud.
