Hello all!  I have started doing watch repair about a year ago after working through the first 2 lessons of the TZ watch school.  I enjoy working on vintage movements and hope to learn more the members here.  I have picked up a lot from Mark Lovick's videos.  His videos helped me work through much confusion!

Hello from me. Your just starting out and you like the vintage types. I'm retired I never bothered with the quartz stuff to me it wasn't watchmaking seeing lumps of plastic. I'm glad I moved over to antique high quality clocks. You will find loads of help and advice  on here. Members on here are only to willing to help.

I know what you mean.  The whole balance adjustment thing is intimidating for me.  I have recently purchased a timing machine so I can at least get familiar with gauging a watch's performance.
